May 23, 2011 - Lol...Must have missed how it was already in second then...0:28 from first to second. Then in the end it drops into 3rd

Digiscat Says:

May 23, 2011 - Er, sorry. Mixxed it up for first. The first ball that fell was knocked back by the other two balls, and the second one went first, the third went second, and the first went third. (In the last fall. So #1 stayed #1....Lol...)

Dalemoooooon Says:

May 24, 2011 - ah yeah.... FIRST!!!!! lol

MEGAF4IL Says:

Jun 10, 2011 - Obviously you haven't played with marbles in a while!..

Knightyme Says:

Jun 17, 2011 - From 0:25 is likely faked.1. No hand holding them and letting go2. The marbles are already going at speed without any means to explain how.3. The Marbles don't cast any shadows4. Last marble somehow gains speed to make it to track 2 before marble 25. One of the marbles is floating above track 3 before 'falling' in. Actually it falls down onto the track not into it as if it was rolling on an edge before falling in.6. Before getting to track 2 the marbles inexplicably spread out

Jun 21, 2011 - dipshit

Knightyme Says:

Jun 21, 2011 - How can I possibley counter such a reasoned argument? I am totally devastated at your rapier wit, your epic use of the language, the masterful grasp of science in general.

Phygar1 Says:

Jun 23, 2011 - Why would anyone fake this? Please stop trying to find problems with everything. Do you realize how much HARDER this would be to fake than to actually do?

Knightyme Says:

Jun 23, 2011 - Problems? It *looks* faked to me in parts whether it actually is fake or not.I used to work at a Public Science Centre, I did science demonstrations on many occasions on various subjects. I explained exhibits, including many physics exhibits over the years, some with marbles or small balls using gravity to make their way down.I wrote my observations, I might be wrong. As to why. Because they could ... if they did. Too see if anyone would notice ... if it was faked of course.

BennyT95 Says:

Jul 1, 2011 - 0:22 - Shadow.and perhaps the marble was rubbing against the wall, causing it to like, you know, slow down?

Knightyme Says:

Jul 1, 2011 - And yet in my initial comment I mention from 0:25 seconds onwards. :)To everyone else, particularly those that say it is 'real' the part of the vid past 0:25 and before 0:28.How is it that the marbles are already moving fast, and evenly spaced till about 1/2 way down the 1st ramp? Note the slow speed and the increase in speed down the 2nd ramp. This is what should have been seen on the 1st ramp - as well as perhaps the hand / barrier moving to let the marbles go on the 1st ramp.

MrTimmyCahill Says:

Jul 7, 2011 - Lol, one marble is stationary on the ground at 0:25

Jul 16, 2011 - 2nd?

invis648 Says:

Jul 20, 2011 - it's obviously photoshopped, I can tell from the pixels and from seeing quite a few photoshops in my time

HumbleThudwigThud Says:

Aug 7, 2011 - You're so punny

Blivia Says:

Aug 17, 2011 - @KnightymeObviously the video is cut, the marbles are small, and for their size have a good weight, which means if they were dropped from the very top, they could easily reach those starting speeds. The top ramp is steeper then the rest, which would also explain why they start faster then on the later ramp. There's no good reason to fake something like this- Likely a small hobby. I love how people try to prove it fake, when obviously there's nothing even slightly interesting about faking this.

Knightyme Says:

Aug 17, 2011 - You could be right. Still If I might point out ...Assuming the marbles are the same type throughout, they are blue glass, not that heavy for their size, but still nice and solid.Granted there is no good reason to 'fake' this, but then there is no good reason for people to do many things, yet some do for the fun, or challenge, or because they felt like it.The vid might be exactly as it says it is. I was making my comments as have many others. :)
