It would be unreasonable to single our species out as a special, non-mammal exception, right?On that basis, humans are classed as apes, because our physical characteristics match the definition of 'ape'. In biology, humans have been classed as apes since before anyone knew about Evolution. On what basis do you make our species an exception?

God made the banana tree separate from the cow tree...oh wait there is no such thing as a cow tree? But according to evolution cows probably formed from trees after all trees and animals are distant cousins. That's why cows eat grass. They came from trees.
