Dec 8, 2011 - I am Canadian and whenever I went to Niagara Falls (Ontario), I would also take a quick side trip for a few hours to Niagara Falls (New York), I used to just walk across the bridge, the border was 1/2 way across the bridge. It used to be a cool trip, with no problems or snags. Fun.BUT NOW .... it has just become a hassle, a real pain in the ass and all of this "border security" is just bullshit. No thanks! I will stay on the Canadian side without the hassle.  Sad times.
