Take a peek into Ballet Philippines' last production for the 42nd Season through the video animation of still photos by Paul Alexander Morales and Victor UrsabiaPusong Wagas, is a new contemporary ballet by resident choreographer AldenLugnasin with original music by an independent music icon, Cynthia Alexander. Based on a libretto by Nicolas B. Pichay, this production is inspired by the legend of Mandaluyong. Set in pre-colonial Manila, the story highlights the exemplary love of Luyong, a gifted carpenter and Manda a tribal princess and their sacrifice in the face of the coming foreigninvaders.
