Dec 21, 2011 - Its the steel guitar. Today's country sucks- its all pop. Songs now are about dumb shit like red solo cups, corny love songs, or baiting hooks. It's really lame. Nothing is "artistic" anymore. And hardly anyone plays an instrument. - they get any cute blonde to sing over a studio band. However, I did see Taylor Swift perform back when she was a nobody and loved her. Then her career went pop like everyone else.
