I am a humongous fan of all of their other work, but that album is just an over produced turd, with a vampant usage of annoying synthesizers. Their work in Uncle Tupelo and the album A.M are incredible. YHF (Yankee Hotel Foxtrot) is up there in the best albums of all time. The Whole Love is pretty good as well.
