RisingSon011 Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - makes me want a beer

Shmucko21 Says:

Mar 12, 2012 - But Frank isn't generalizing alcohol as a WHOLE but rather one type of beverage. Which is absolutely absurd if you ask me. Alcohol is alcohol, the persons personality determines their reaction to it. Beer has nothing to do with it

TexasChainsawJesus Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - So Frank was expressing zero interest in "drinking beer and getting riled up," but secretly he was jealous. He really wanted to "drink beer and get riled up." Think I'll have to drink a few beers and get riled up to understand that. Frank wasn't just disinterested in alcohol. He didn't do drugs either. Now that was a punk rock thing to do, be a rock n roll star, and not indulge in drugs or alcohol in the 60s and 70s, yet another reason why Frank was interesting.

jimiguitar100 Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - I know it makes sense what he's saying. But I enjoy a few beers every day, they are relaxing. And even WHO said beer reduces stress and they recommend 1 - 2 beers a day (1 or two in a row, not more). And if you ask me - some Pink Floyd along with it of course.

shredmaster100 Says:

Mar 16, 2012 - hes right we beer drinkers in the uk and europe are less crazy than the yanks lol

ScreamingForClemency Says:

Mar 17, 2012 - U.S. drug culture is so funny. Drinking huge quantities of alcohol every day makes you a rugged manly man cuz you can hold your liquor. Snorting huge quantities of coke every day makes you a drug addict and we look down at you from our high horse.

hendrix950 Says:

Mar 19, 2012 - Whats wrong with being a high 15 year old?

flipwiggins Says:

Mar 21, 2012 - I think I'll crack one open and put on TITTIES AND BEER, or WONDERFUL WINO!!!!!!!Heyoooooo.

rintintin7529 Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - listen to what he says about yeast as that has not only been linked to behaviour which is used against you increasing your awareness. It is also a big part in diseases not least Cancer and is so much part of the western diet.

anonymusum Says:

Mar 25, 2012 - Zappa is absolutely right.BUT: makes the beer men behave like idiots OR do idiots prefer beer anyway? That´s the question.

666head Says:

Mar 26, 2012 - I agree, and most beer they push on TV isn't even good !

Kirkola Says:

Apr 3, 2012 - But wasn't Bud lite's Swedish Bikini Team from Europe? How ironic....and sorry you got a head like a potato, I really am

wolfsblood07 Says:

Apr 5, 2012 - He makes some good points, especially the part about the difference in the way beer is thought of in Europe as opposed to the United States.

comeonewtf Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - Frank is right. If you dimwits notice, he says it's not the drinking of beer that's a problem it's the way it's marketed in the U.S. that's crap. In Europe it's just another food. And that is the way it ought to be looked at, but our advertisers would crap their pants and die of a heart attack if we ever did that.

Blackgeoff1 Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - You're quite right, it's not just America, Australia has a beer culture pretty much as Frank describes - it's a "manly" thing to do.. You'd go to work Monday morning and listen to guys brag about how drunk they got on the weekend; imagine that, boasting about how you got so shit-faced you didn't know what you were doing.. For some drinkers it's like a license to behave like an idiot. I got to admit though, on a hot day there's nothing like a good quality icy-cold brew ... cheers..

Neueregel Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - This guy was so wise, it's almost ridiculous.

andseibel Says:

Apr 24, 2012 - Zappa fans don't march either. What he says is absolutely senseless in this point. I rather his nonsense lyrics than his nonsense arguments.

quezcatol Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - You guys are all wrong, He, like many others from the 60 and 70's was pointing out how "drugs" are illegal, but not Alcohol. He is trying to make beer illegal, just to rile up the avg male who dispise drugs.

1001orpheus Says:

May 4, 2012 - The average male despises drugs? Was that what you were trying to say?

1001orpheus Says:

May 4, 2012 - Zappa was a tobacco and coffee man. Damn, his breath must have stunk.

anonymusum Says:

May 4, 2012 - Oh thank you. I couldnt live without coffee and cigarettes.....

1001orpheus Says:

May 5, 2012 - Said it was his metabolism!

freitasnetuno Says:

May 7, 2012 - I FUCKING LOVE THIS GUY!

BLUELIZARD69 Says:

May 14, 2012 - I seem to remember Frank was drinking beers when I saw him in Phoenix....on stage...whilst also chain smoking. hmmmm

angie4josh Says:

May 17, 2012 - Thank god for Zappa. I know that he smoked but he is right. I am not a wuss just because I disapprove of all drugs and drinking. I am proud to be a non consumer!
