Jan 7, 2012 - Unbelievable, but 35 years ago I was sitting with Klaus Nomi in the cellar room of my best friend in Bavaria. It was winter with two feet of snow outside, but nice and warm inside. We were sitting in pot-fog and it was as funny as can be. The more time passes, the more I cherish this most amazing evening. :)

Jan 15, 2012 - I would like to add to my story one important observation. Klaus Nomi's mind and soul had an even larger spectrum than his voice. It was always such a treat to be with him. Witty, brilliantly smart, very understanding and above all equipped with an ultra dry humor that was highly contagious. I wish people would have had a chance to not only hear Klaus, but to feel him personally. :)

Look at it carefully, especially after seeing this video, and you'll see him sing so beautifully though in great pain. He just nails that last 10-second note, and lifts his head, having won. The last word is "Death".
