Sep 12, 2011 - hi guys im 13 and i bowl about 80-85KMPH (49-52MPH) and im a pace bowler...is that too slow or is it fast?

Sep 23, 2011 - pretty quick, I'm 16 and bowl about 120kph

Sep 28, 2011 - cutter deviate because of spin imparted on the ball by dragging your fingers down one side of the ball. Swingers move due to air friction running differently over each half of the ball - the seam should be straight and the ball can deviate in the air and as it bounces off the seam.

Sep 30, 2011 - No that's not what i'm asking.. how can you tell if a particular delivery is an inswinger or an offcutter just by looking at the delivery and not looking at the bowlers's hand/wrist positon.

Oct 2, 2011 - That speed is a little slow, you should be aiming for the high 50 mph :) Check out my channel if you like cricket
CricketcoachGuy Says:
Oct 2, 2011 - Go to a good club and they should have a speed gun

Oct 2, 2011 - Try and get your footwork straight, check out my lastest tutorials if you want to see what I mean
Herimia Says:
Oct 12, 2011 - inswingers are also great at hitting RH batsman
DeanWhipper Says:
Oct 18, 2011 - The leg cutter tutorial was a good laugh, suggesting that you run your fingers down the ball to get it cut, when the clip they showed of Gillespie clearly showed him getting it to seem away.

Dec 17, 2011 - THAnxx man thiss really helped me......... BUT can u tell me what "chuck the ball"means???
kssjp191 Says:
Dec 22, 2011 - cock your wrist back and just as you let it go push the wrist forward. This imparts heaps of spin and extra pace and if you can spin the ball in that way with the seam position upright you will get a heap of swing to! But remember... it's about playing how your body tells you to... and if that way of bowling isn't getting you wickets then long term bowling is not for you. Same with batting.
kssjp191 Says:
Dec 22, 2011 - and when he says "it's either side on, or front on.." don't listen to that... it's how your body allows you to bowl within the limitations of cricket rules. Look at the top 10 fast bowlers in the world... they all had completely different actions and they were successful as their bodies allowed them to bowl fast and comfortably over a long period of time to get wickets :) Good luck with your cricket! :D

Jan 12, 2012 - Thats all bulldustt....look at Gillespie...he never bowled the offcutter the way Simon O'Donnell mentioned.....it was all seam.....thats what I want to know...is it just pure luck which way it goes when it hits the seam?
wannell58 Says:
Feb 24, 2012 - an off cutter is not the same as natural seam movement mate get your info correct
Sarmad950 Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - Ow, this video is too great, now going to see part 2 :D
srilanakanjanaka Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - Off cutters are normally bowled when there is lack of seam movement or swing, especially in places like sub continent tracks, Dubai etc where there is lack of support for fast bowlers.
srilanakanjanaka Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - A cutter is a combination of spin bowling and fast bowling. You roll your fingers to spin the ball, but it won't spin that much since you cannot roll a lot at a greater speed and still finding the proper line and length.

May 24, 2012 - These video means nothing to me. I know Damien Fleming is a brilliant bowler. Back in his age he didn't have computers so he practiced really hard. I would rather experiment by practicing
