May 3, 2012 - Turning your back to the opponent and literally sprinting to get away from your opponent IS called running. Circling away is called re-positioning. FYI Condit is a finisher, he pulled off some Greg Jackson jackshit strategy and he wasn't too fond of it either which is why he was cool with a rematch right away. The sport doesn't need elitist snobs like you to market MMA.

leaderOFlosers Says:

May 3, 2012 - Instead of pointing out what Condit did why don't you point out what Diaz didn't do. Diaz didn't engage and allowed Condit to keep his distance. He had plenty of opportunities to take Condot down but he chose not to... instead he waited for the last possible moment to go for a takedown and then he bitched like a little baby that Condit "ran" And the only reason Condit accepted a rematch is because of all the negative response from diaz fanboys.

warmaker911 Says:

May 3, 2012 - Diaz maintained Octagon Control for all rounds and was constantly pushing the pace of the fight. If your opponent wants to turn and run every time you close in on him, there's not much you can do. Firstly, Diaz is a BJJ guy and he always takes the game to his opponent's strengths and yet Condit bitched out. If it was a ring they were fighting in, Condit would get demolished with nowhere to run. BS Condit is a finisher and he wanted to fight his own way in the rematch and prove he's a champ

Rmichaelhimself Says:

May 15, 2012 - How can you say that Jon Fitch and Chael Sonnen are boring to watch compete? Especially chael? I mean these guys are wrestlers, eeryone knows their wrestlers, their opponents know their wrestlers, yet no matter what their opponent does, at the end of the day their losing the fight because their back is against the mat/cage with their face getting peppered with annoying punches. Its genius! I love watching chael charge out the gate. Use those front leg kicks an long arms to find your range, the

Rmichaelhimself Says:

May 15, 2012 - And fitch is awesome too talk shit all you want. The guys an animal and will. Yes WILL grind iut a decision win over any current top 5 welterweight. Fight would 29-28 condit, he would 29-28 shields, he would split decision hendricks in a rematch, he'd 29-28 koscheck. He'd easily 30-27 diaz with his strength advantage. He'd beat bj in a rematch and definitely beat hughes.Other than gsp only rory macdobald could give fitch a tough fight and proba manage the win

koganin9 Says:

May 16, 2012 - 2nd round no? :)but you're right.. top moment in mma 2012!

ODJames2 Says:

May 19, 2012 - I don't want to break it to you. But Johny Hendricks is a better wrestler than Fitch. He's also faster. Fitch is great no doubt, but this is how I see it. 29-28 Fitch vs Condit (we both agree). 3rd round sub Shields (sorry). 2rd TKO Koscheck (too fast, too good). Diaz 2rd sub (sorry). Fitch 29-28 vs BJ (agreed). Hughes by firs second knockout :P. I think he could beat Rory.
