Title: Watch Out! NASA UARS satellite to hit Earth... anywhere
Added: Sep 22, 2011
Author: RussiaToday
Duration: 3:23
Description:
An old NASA satellite is out of control and plunging back towards Earth. But U.S. scientists have been left guessing where it will land - as it could be anywhere on the planet. RT's Peter Oliver sought out some top Russian astronomers and cosmonauts to look at whether we should be watching our heads.RT on Twitter: http://twitter.com/RT_comRT on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/RTnews

Oct 17, 2011 - I think there are about 3k satellite in the earth orbit.
paperplanelover Says:
Oct 23, 2011 - they should probably find some way of getting rid of inactive satellites, like say put a satellite that is controlable in movement that can take out others

Nov 4, 2011 - it will land in china and us won't get it back. lol

Nov 4, 2011 - HAARP is nothing more than an atmospheric research facility. As a physicist, I can tell you that satellites in low Earth orbit are traveling faster than the gravitational escape velocity, but they are not far enough away from Earth to escape the Exosphere (unless they are Geosynchronous). As a result, they encounter atmospheric drag as well as atomic Oxygen, slowing the craft, thereby gradually pulling it back to Earth. Eventually, it will cross the PNR and fall back to Earth.
Mormonites Says:
Nov 5, 2011 - said: "HAARP is nothing more than an atmospheric research facility."You may be a physicist, but your knowledge of HAARP is under-par from even the general public. Apparently, you have not done your research either because the applications employed are far more reaching than what the US Government wants you to believe is just "atmospheric research." Please educate yourself and watch:"HAARP CBC Broadcast Weather Control Part 1 & 2"then tell me its just atmospheric research!

Nov 5, 2011 - @x0acakeWhy are you so butthurt over what @QCBEC said, if he's in the wrong, why not just ignore him?Clearly you spent an exorbitant amount of time in thoughtful contemplation, preparing your rebuttal, but in the end you simply fail to even make a logical case, resorting to ad homonym attacks and a blithering spew of defensive bs!Asking what law exists that prevents you from making generalizations on populations? LOL!Are you THAT asinine?!You have all the earmarks of a spoiled 5th grader...
x0acake Says:
Nov 5, 2011 - @Mormonites "Why are you so butthurt over what @QCBEC said, if he's in the wrong, why not just ignore him?"Oh how the world would look like if we simply dismissed every word of stupid bullshit that we came across. "Clearly", not so. "Asking what law exists that prevents you from making generalizations on populations?" Misinterpretation. He attempted to remove himself from the same generalization he made towards Americans by categorizing his generalization on the "average", I applied the same.
x0acake Says:
Nov 5, 2011 - The keyword there is "exclusivity", leaving it out like you did makes it meaningless. Read my explanation if Youtube doesn't send that separately.
virtualnerd100 Says:
Dec 16, 2011 - so, when is it gonna hit the earth?or has it already hit the earth?

May 9, 2012 - If NASA's satellite holes my house or truck, they WILL be repairing the damage or replacing the vehicle BEFORE getting their piece of satellite back.............

Mormonites Says:
Sep 30, 2011 - @QCBECThey are NOT telling us the whole TRUTH!!The Satellite was shot out of orbit by the US's HAARP as part of greater, more secret space war, the Satellite is just a casualty of the war games, the Govt doesn't give a rat's ass about where it crashes!!So the people who die in its destructive collision path are just "expendables" who hold no value to the Elite's who use NASA anyway. So what if it kills a few hundred thousand when it hits LA or NY, death and destruction is the natural outcome.
