May 11, 2012 - Steve was booted because he injured his hip from a hike in Hawaii and needed surgery, right after Trial by Fire album was released. He waited 2 years deciding on whether to get the surgery. Trial by Fire is the only album to not get a tour supporting it. Journey asked him to leave because they wanted to make more albums and tour, so out with Steve Perry and in with Steve Augeri, then Steve A left in 2006 after suffering from a chronic throat infection for 3 years, then Arnel was found....
