Mar 18, 2012 - Alot of videos that have post 2000 years are because they were re-released for a later year. In terms of age. I think Wilco and Sonic Youth amongst others have band members of varied age groups. Which just shows you that often age doesn't mean that you can't still be relevant and exciting. Which is great!!

May 2, 2012 - I'm not an Avril Lavigne fan, but in fairness, she's never said she's punk. In fact, there's interviews where she categorically denies even being punk.

DaveS12382 Says:

May 3, 2012 - no comment, but she's fake punk you epic twat, whether admitted or not, just like the douche fake twat of a cunt from sum21she fucking MARRIED, hello, any cunt home here just asking? no, she ain't trying to be punk at all......smell the glove.. you hapless motherfucker you, open your eyes man.

spooooooooons Says:

May 3, 2012 - Erm, I find it hard to believe anyone could be 'fake punk' when they say that they disagree with people labelling them as that. Also, assuming you're on about Deryck Whibley of Sum 41, himself & the entire band have shown they have more metal influences than anything, even though they started as a NoFX covers band, but when describing themselves, they use the term 'rock' not punk. Also, if you look at all her 'eras', she clearly isn't trying to be punk. You couldn't have a more flawed argument.

DaveS12382 Says:

May 3, 2012 - dude, thats all politics just disagreeing with what they label you as secretly hoping you are such, as in bitches Lavignes case, and truth be told none of its punk, all garbage sum 41 and the lot including your precious "Nofx".. Real punk is The Sex Pistols, the ramones, or the clash, so go fishing again dyke, troll someone else, its too bad you bumped into someone who knows more than 2 shits about music what a shame otherwise you might look half ass intelligent...

spooooooooons Says:

May 3, 2012 - You, sir, are a fool. If 'punk' is what Lavigne is trying to be, then judging from her latest image and music, she is way off the mark, which leads me even more to believe you're possibly retarded. Sure, some of her fans call her a 'punk princess', but of course she isn't going to completely say anything against punk, as it could result in some fans thinking they got her all wrong and may be deluded to what she really is.

spooooooooons Says:

May 3, 2012 - (Cont.) Additionally, I'm looking at NoFX albums and Sum 41 albums right now in my collection, along with London Calling, Clash Greatest Hits, Never Mind The Bollocks and Ramones albums. Why can't I like all of them? I listen to an eclectic range of music and am aware of the codes and conventions of genres.

spooooooooons Says:

May 3, 2012 - (Cont.2) It isn't 100% clear to me if you are saying these ridiculous things on purpose or are genuinely blinded by cynical arguments of what 'punk' is and what it isn't. Yes, people say Lavigne is some 'punk poster girl'; my point is that it is not her secretly wanting them to say it; she believes she is herself with no labels. Once again, I am no fan of Lavigne, but I have heard her work and am knowledgeable, as a quizzer. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to enjoy The Muffs once more.

May 6, 2012 - hahaha long shit someone took time writing that i wont read

motocarnage615 Says:

May 18, 2012 - Shame you can only cite The Ramones, The Sex Pistols and The Clash as real punk. you may know more than two shits about music, but as far as listing only three generic yet great bands that solely embody punk rock among the several great bands that followed, you are missing out.

DaveS12382 Says:

May 19, 2012 - When I correct people on youtube I generally give three examples of the thing I'm educating them on, it shows I know what I'm talking about but isn't excessive. I sincerely apologize that is not enough for you here, you little nitpick bitch. I give the best three examples I can think of at the time and those I gave here would be the ones I would say to me define the music genre of "punk" so if you have somekind of problem with that then you might as well be jackin' it in san diego.

May 24, 2012 - Is it just me or does the drummer look like a t-rex...?

spooooooooons Says:

May 24, 2012 - Completely get that vibe too. I love that early 2000's or 1990s vibe from the punk bands, no matter what sub-genre of it.

Drahregssor Says:

May 28, 2012 - What about Black Flag, Distillers, or The Casualties?
