Mar 27, 2007 - Good idea to enable the message to be spread far and wide across the world - the wheel is turning - after decades of one-sided reporting, people may now start to become interested in the other side of the story.

Mar 30, 2007 - In German. Wonderful.Let us not forget that a rather large percentage of Afrikaner ancestry is German. German, Dutch, French, English, Italian, Greek, Canadian, Ozzie, Kiwi, Yank -- all of us are tied to the Afrikaner and the South African who share our roots. Thanks to Bok van Blerk more of us are watching now. Watching closely.

Apr 3, 2007 - A French subtitled version is exceptionally important and overdue. After all, de la Rey was descended from French settlers. The Acadian French people of Eastern Canada, in particular, will understand this emotion well. They share lots of names with the Afrikaner and have an equally painful history.

Apr 8, 2008 - I visited the camp in Bloemfontein (1975). It is a sad place to see. My grandmother was lucky, we are German royal descendants and my grandmother had our royal sword over the fireplace. When the British came to take her and the family, the officer refused to take her out of respect for the sword. I have also visited a British war cemetry outside Pretoria. It is quite emotional to read the headstones of both sides (very emotional).

Aug 21, 2008 - Leon many thanks for translating OUR SONG into German. Unfortunately there are „peinliche Fehler" (inexcusable German mistakes) in almost every line. If you like, I will send you a proper German translation! We will get our land back!!! Vasbyt!!!

Dus toe net so gebruik ! Jammer vir die foute !
vaalpenspiet Says:
Groete,Peter.
