Apr 18, 2012 - Ah ok - I am curious what makes Limbo steampunk? (I haven't spent a lot of time with it.)
UgyvanPlancsiznakEgy Says:
Apr 20, 2012 - Well, Limbo is not necessarily JUST steam-punk; it contains dark-gothic, cyberpunk, and related elements as well. And of course, steampunk. If you watch my videos about Limbo, you'll soon discover that Limbo is set in sort of a dream-or-fantasy world VERY resembling to this short movie. At the later areas, the scene changes to several facility areas, including a rainmaker machine, lots of gigantic machines operated by gears, and mechanisms seen in this movie.

Apr 21, 2012 - Extremely well done. Dark & hauntingly wonderful. I love the unique style of silhouette animation. Not only does this short animation look amazingly fantastic, the story & the character acting is superb. The sound-design wonderfully inventive. Steam & iron in the face of nature's tempest. From what I understand, this is actually Part 1 yet I have had no luck in finding a Part 2 other than a brief description. Just in time for the new RUSH album "Clockwork Angels" which has a steampunk concept.

Apr 26, 2012 - is it just me, or does the synopsis have nothing to do with the actual story?

Apr 26, 2012 - For example the part when you pull a certain lever and suddelny realize that the whole ground you're standing on is a gigantic cog that now starts spinning. Also there are many industrial elements like big machines and stuff. Steampunky stuff.
