The mmm, mmm, mmm, bit was originally supposed to have words, the composer (wasisname?) used it as a device to show the other members of the band the tune he had in mind. They decided, mmm, mmm, mmm, was perfect as was, they were right! This is a classic! Gonna listen to it again now, no wait, light the joint first.
