SCROGY Says:

Jul 21, 2011 - @FathomlessJoy I asked you to produce a study that proves that vegans live longer and suffer from less disease than strict PALEOLITHIC eaters. Good luck with it, because none exists. All your bullshit means nothing unless you can find the study I am asking for.

FathomlessJoy Says:

Jul 21, 2011 - @SCROGY You keep demanding something and then ranting how it does not exist. It seems rather childish. As I said, you've drawn your conclusions, your head is buried. No facts can unbury it. I understand; I do. I was in your place before with several things, not just rotting flesh and cruelty. I understand the fear of facing where you're wrong, where you have been unhealthy and cruel. Just dont let another (be it wealthy diet guru or wealthy animal peddler) convince you that change is impossible.

SCROGY Says:

Jul 21, 2011 - @FathomlessJoy Less talk. More searching on your part. I just want you to prove that vegans live longer than strict Paleo eaters. Is that so hard? All the time you've spent talking shit could have been spent finding out that in fact, Vegans do NOT live longer than Paleo eaters, and do not suffer from less disease.Come back to me when you've found the evidence, not your biased and easily discredited "research".

Jul 22, 2011 - I don't get it...i"m Asian and I have been eating rice for all my life for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in big proportions yet I'm skinny and healthy? can someone explain that please? Rice has carbs right?

FatHeadMovie Says:

Jul 22, 2011 - @cremeglaceex3 I don't know about your particular diet, but Asians in general eat fewer total carbs than Americans and only a fraction of the sugar, which is the worst.

Jul 23, 2011 - @FathomlessJoy If a maggot or vulture were capable of grilling a fine T-bone, then indeed!

iiaiiappa Says:

Jul 24, 2011 - @SCROGY 1. The most impressive data arises from a study of 1904 vegetarians over 21 years by the German Cancer Research Center. The study's shocking results: vegetarian men reduced their risk of early death by 50%. Women vegetarians benefit from a 30% reduction in mortality.2. The google this and the first link: Does low meat consumption increase life expectancy in humans?

iiaiiappa Says:

Jul 24, 2011 - and the study from 2005 "Vegetarian Study: A little meat does no harm if your lifestyle is healthy" from German Cancer Research Center, press release available on the website. The 2005 study includes 1904 vegetarians, not "study from 1904". A healthy lifestyle includes proper exercises. Remember, even vegetarian/vegan can eat crap or starve themselves, so do meat eaters. Some vegetarian organizations are going too far. But if you watch HSUS, animal abuse are still happening in farms in 2011.

iiaiiappa Says:

Jul 24, 2011 - Fat Head movie itself, I agree with everything it says. The movie is saying meat eating can be healthy if the diet and lifestyle are both done right. I think James Oliver are doing pretty good about crap food. The movie itself is not disapproving vegetarianism, but it objects vegetarian organizations are going too far. However, the environment impact of eating meat and potential animal abuses, people need to account for that as well.

iiaiiappa Says:

Jul 24, 2011 - search google for the guardian article "Let them eat meat -- but farm it properly" It deserves your attention.

FatHeadMovie Says:

Jul 25, 2011 - @iiaiiappa "Reduction in risk" simply means statistically, vegetarians are less likely to die early. It says zero about cause. Vegetarianism attracts health-minded people who are far less likely to smoke, drink too much, consume junk food, etc. That by no means proves they're healthier BECAUSE they don't eat meat. The longest-lived non-Asians in America are Mormons, who also don't smoke, drink, use drugs, etc. But they're not vegetarians. Correlation does not prove causation.

FatHeadMovie Says:

Jul 25, 2011 - @FathomlessJoy Idiot. There have been several studies of the link between cancer and meat. Most showed no link, some showed lower cancer rates for vegetarians eaters and some showed HIGHER cancer rates for vegetarians. No consistency = no scientific validity. And if you're going to quite the government as a source of truth, you're dumber than I thought.

Jul 25, 2011 - @FatHeadMovie Holy shit! I'm glad we have you, because I'm tired of people always tryign to be better than me just because they're a vegetarian!

cremeglaceex3 Says:

Jul 26, 2011 - @FatHeadMovie When I eat rice, I have to eat it with lots of meats and fat which lowers the glycemic index I think.

Octavideoz Says:

Jul 27, 2011 - YOUTUBE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PUT THIS VIDEO ON YOUR HOMEPAGE SO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE CAN SEE THIS. PLEASE!(thumb this shit up guys)

FatHeadMovie Says:

Jul 28, 2011 - @cremeglaceex3 That's correct; adding fat lowers the GI.

manu707070 Says:

Jul 31, 2011 - quality of the meat, how lean, plus how balance your diet is & how healthy you live at 360* is the key. we are what we are because of animal proteins, but fruit and vegetables are fondamental, process-mass produced food in a box or frozen is the end of our health!

blackkat888 Says:

Aug 2, 2011 - the fat that blocks the artery in case of heart attacks....it is caused by fat rite??????????? or has it got nothing to do with fatty diet at all?

FatHeadMovie Says:

Aug 2, 2011 - @blackkat888 Plaque in your arteries is a combination of cholesterol, white blood cells, calcium and smooth muscle cells. Fat in the diet has zip to do with it. Your body can and will make cholesterol even if you don't eat cholesterol or fat. The more refined carbs you eat, the more your body shifts to making small, dense cholesterol, which is the kind that can get stuck in the walls of your arteries.

Aug 10, 2011 - Always good to see someone fighting against the ignorance and politics in modern medical science.&as someone familiar with WAPF principles, I lol'd at FathomlessJoy's comments.

freerunnerJ Says:

Aug 12, 2011 - This video is so biased. It's only basis of the claim, is ONE tainted research study which didn't show the proof that Cholesterol kills. There is tons and tons of medical research information that clearly chows that cholesterol does kill. This video is a simple excuse for unhealthy gluttons and women who have lost their hard working, respectable fathers to heart disease/obesity, so that they can further move to convince us that "diet" isn't why their fathers died, "diet" isn't why they are obese.

FatHeadMovie Says:

Aug 12, 2011 - @freerunnerJ I've read more studies on the subject than I can count by now, and no, cholesterol doesn't kill. If it does, please explain how Russians -- average cholesterol 190 -- have the second-highest rate of heart disease in the world, while the Swiss -- average cholesterol around 240 -- have one the lowest. Then explain why people with cholesterol within the accepted range have a higher rate of heart disease than those whose cholesterol is higher.
