Ken was so hurt he would have died from blocking even one attack let alone Chun li's special attack barrage. parrying is when you press forward forward or rush at the exact moment and positioning of an attack. Daigo's parrying of Justin Wong's entire super-attack and his instantaneous counter-attack is EXTREMELY difficult. Factor in that this was being performed in front of a live crowd (with all of the distractions that entails) and you have a video-game historical moment in the making.
