May 18, 2010 - Emily Haines is an amazing artist. She's naturally beautiful and talanted. I mean honestly most artists today alter their voicese on the computer, and those who sing live and either lip syncing or just suck, but not Emily. Jun 18, 2011 - At the "...let's just shut UP" you can hear just how much she means it. The 'fuck you' Emily shifting briefly from rant to plea; I think, intoxication or pretension or anything else aside, she legitimately just wants the music being played to be heard by people there who are willing to listen. Things she's said about creating "Knives" touch on how heartbreaking and difficult it was for her to do, it makes me furious the people there couldn't acknowledge that and give her some fucking respect.
