Mar 16, 2012 - That's what Mozart's fans said during Beethoven's era. "I don't see or hear any creative geniuses now."

Inglewolf Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - I love this video and thanks for posting this; rock legends in the embryonic stage.Having said that...is it me or did Dave Gilmour look like an acid casualty here (a'la Syd '68) who in the 70s got more healthy looking? I know he was filling in for Syd at this stage but it's so...damn, that's Syd! Except he's still functional!Oh yeah, if you're hosting the show step aside when the band plays; don't look like a second keyboardist, monsieur.Again, fantastic!
LoudGJ Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - Nah, he's just dancing around. :P

May 4, 2012 - Yippie! David can't remember the text! :)
Andryesify Says:
May 4, 2012 - Is it just me or David Gilmour doesn't sing that well as he did in Meddle and later albums
Bill E. T. Says:
May 10, 2012 - I don't know.. the music (and I'm talking about the actual music) that Roger Waters wrote is very unimpressive and shallow when compared to those creations of Gilmour. I thought that The Wall was, again, musically, very boring for the most part.
LedZeppelin4369 Says:
May 23, 2012 - i do like syd barrett WAY better than gilmour but i do agree with you. but, barrett did make pink floyd the most mysterious band in rock n roll. HE made pink floyd a hit. HE came up with the name, but as i said, you're right about gilmour
atomi62 Says:
May 24, 2012 - Oh my...he's always been and still is the sexiest man on earth!
deluxeaction Says:
May 25, 2012 - of course not, he isn't "David Gilmour" yet, he's "Syd's Replacement", they need to get through a saucerful of secrets and some other weird stuff before Dave can find his voice and Roger can fully realize his own leadership. Everything between Syd and Meddle is Pink Floyd's equivalent to a chicken without a head. It isn't bad per se but it is missing something important.
deluxeaction Says:
May 25, 2012 - So you didn't like Dark Side, Wish You Were Here or Animals? All the best stuff on Meddle was collaborative. David didn't write those, David wrote Momentary Lapse of Reason, remember that one? Total write-off, and Division Bell wasn't much better. I'm not saying Pink Floyd would have worked without him, he was integral but he wasn't the engine.
deluxeaction Says:
May 25, 2012 - And Syd remained da heart and soul, pretty much every album afterwards was about him, so we must all give thanks that Syd lost his mind and was pushed out of the band, if it hadn't happened who knows what Floyd would write about?
PrZemek44 Says:
May 25, 2012 - Well, I'm not sure about the 'thanks'... :) Roger has always something to write about... Cheers.

Feb 21, 2012 - pink floyd, led zepplin, beatles, jimi hendrix etc... all the rock n' roll bands of those time- had taken all the advantages of pop music when it was available at the right moment, on right time and on right days... i dont see or hear any creative bands or groups now.... hardly beleive like RADIOHEAD very creative and GOLDFRAPP ... long live PINK FLOYD
