TheOverfiendDj Says:
Oct 20, 2011 - TM isnt much different to most kinds of meditation they just use a different mantra all meditation is good if you do it correctly
yharyhar8 Says:
Oct 21, 2011 - Yes, you dont have to spend money and go to a TM class. If you were just to sit still in a quiet room and focus on your breathing for 20 minutes twice a day you would get exactly the same benefits. Meditation is better than anti depressants and it has way more benefits.
slevisman Says:
Oct 23, 2011 - Would you happen to know where I can learn this precise method you speak of? I also would like to learn and cannot afford the $1,500 fee. Thanks.

Nov 13, 2011 - My inspirations, Russell and Clint. Should I be looking into this transcendental meditation?
GameOfYears Says:
Nov 13, 2011 - What do you think about? Nothing? Do you try to keep a clear mind or think about everyday life?
UTprema Says:
Nov 27, 2011 - It is inexplicable that such a high fee is charged for something that the TM movement states is so beneficial to human beings and as a result to society as a whole. Why do you need a teacher for something so simple in the first place? The explanation given is very convenient, that TM can be only passed on by a teacher to the student, and that the teacher needs to make a living. Surely can't these so called teachers be part-time volunteers who are professionals in other fields? Clint is Great.
dannners Says:
Nov 28, 2011 - I was so disappointed when i went to learn TM and the price was so expensive :( Do you know any links for proper meditation techniques?
TheOverfiendDj Says:
Nov 28, 2011 - I learned a meditation technique from a yogi and its very good. You just sit down with your legs crossed and back straight ,just sit comfortable rest your hands or arms on your knee's which ever is best for you. Then you close your eyes, you in hale and exhale through your nose.As you inhale you think of the word "Hong" and as you exhale think of the word "so" just keep repeating "hong so" in your mind.As you do this you concentrate at the point between the eye brows.
TheOverfiendDj Says:
Nov 28, 2011 - You will notice allot of thoughts coming into your mind but you just allow them to come and go if they are positive or negative it doesnt matter just keep repeating the mantra in your mind and focus on the breathing. You can do this for as long as you want but once you get to about 20 minutes the stress starts to evaporate completely and you will feel really good. The longer the better some people do it for hours but it takes allot of practice.Good luck

Dec 6, 2011 - Sounds like a load to me.
OgoTomO Says:
Dec 20, 2011 - imho the average person is motivated to adopt a new habit, especially if they spend money to learn it. One can learn to meditate without spending any money...but would they stay with it? Don't tell yourself stories about it should be free. You would spend more on mindless entertainment. Just do it.
Spitfireseven Says:
Dec 24, 2011 - That was cool. I always wondered if Clint Eastwood meditated. When I saw him on, "Mr ED" I kinda figured he was into it. Mr, ED has an expanded cociousness or he couldn't talk. It's amazing what you can learn from a talking horse.
28Karlaca Says:
Jan 12, 2012 - The fee to learn TM goes to various charities to help world peace, veterans, schools...only a small percentage goes to the TM teacher.
ComedianAbbyNovember Says:
Feb 11, 2012 - glad to be doing it--only regret didnt start 40yrs ago
treyjohn18 Says:
Feb 13, 2012 - Big idol of mine, didnt know he respected or practiced eastern psychology like this.
Denisehealthnut Says:
Feb 23, 2012 - I would say God bless Mr. Clint Eastwood but it looks like he's already super blessed.
eaglerock999 Says:
Mar 7, 2012 - you cant put a price on knowing Bliss consciousness,TM does work I've been doing it since 1978.At first I tried too hard and it didnt work, I suspect this is what you are doing, you must be completely innocent relax in the right atmosphere and trust the mantra to do its work,if you chant it or force it, it wont work.Go back to your TM teacher and sort this out.do exactly as they say and make sure they are genuine TM teachers.....some aren't.
TELEVISIONARCHIVES Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - He was on the Merv Griffith Show back in the 1970's talking about it.
Joe Kidd Says:
May 6, 2012 - I figure that you're joking, but just for the sake of historical information, when he appeared on "Mr. Ed" in 1962, Eastwood was still a decade away from being introduced to Transcendental Meditation, something that occurred on the set of the Western film "Joe Kidd" in the winter of 1971-1972.

Oct 10, 2011 - I wouldn't wish that on anyone. LOL
