The scene with the bottle was originally shot using real glass but Bruce got his finger cut bad when he tried to intercept the lunge with the kick and the scene had to be delayed, then they broke out the fake shit. Off camera Bruce got bit by the snake, he was practicing what he does on film, he beat the snake about 6 times before it got him. It had been milked beforehand so no venom.

May 30, 2012 - If Bruce was a shade dumber he would have become a professional fighter. He had a much bigger vision to bring martial arts to where it is today. I hate listening to people say he didn't fight in tournaments and then bleat on about MMA fighters, they're missing the point completely. Also, after all my time in the dojo I can say I learned more about fighting watching this guy than I ever did from anyone else. He's on a different level. Nothing fancy to what he does, it's just executed perfectly.
