The boiling water form a WATER VAPOR (which floats) and much of it doesn't do anything and falls to the ground STILL AS A LIQUID.Seriously...doesn't ANYONE have the sense to look at what falls and see that it is LIQUID?

Jan 26, 2011 - It does freeze, at least a most of it. The hot water easily 'breaks up' into tiny droplets ("turns to vapor") in the air, quickly cooling into tiny ice crystals. It's basically all about surface area. Cold water isn't as easily vaporized, droplets are larger, less surface area, so it takes longer to cool, that's why throwing a jug of cold water doesn't produce the same effect. You've obviously never experienced fine, dry, snow, if you think fine ice particles won't "float".
