Description:
I slowed down one of my favourite scenes from Iron Man 2 and added some awesome music from Iron Man 1.Quality is not great, and it only took a couple of minutes to do, but I never tire of rewatching the suitcase armour in all it's glory :)https://www.facebook.com/ABriefingWithMichael

Apr 29, 2012 - so does that mean 10 - 15 kg?
deadguy775 Says:
May 1, 2012 - to answer your question he probably used a lighter metal for the suitcase version so that he could carry it around with ease instead of struggling to haul it around
TheGoldcountry Says:
May 4, 2012 - everybody here needs to see "The Avengers" Whedon tops this scene
TheGoldcountry Says:
May 4, 2012 - in the comics, the suit doesn't weigh that much- it's made of a kind of metal fabric, and when he charges it up, it turns into steel. I know, comic book logic.
Arlgm Says:
May 9, 2012 - Ehh, as far as I know, people just look at it as:Mk. 1: First one with the car batteryMk. 2: The Silver SuitMk. 3: The Suit he uses after upgrading from Mk. 2 to be more efficientMk. 4: Armor designed after Mk. 3's damage in Iron Monger fightMk. 5: The Suit seen in this videoMk. 6: The Armor designed to be powered by the new Vibranium CoreMk. 7: Spoiler-ish, but the Armor used at the Climax of the Avengers

May 18, 2012 - indeed it is
shadowstalker1120 Says:
May 19, 2012 - I'm guessing that for the purposes of portability, a much more lightweight alloy was used for this version of the armor, which would explain why Vanko was able to damage it as easily as he did. Notice that in the climax of the film, the Mark VI armor was much more resilient to the energy whips.

AgentMarcx Says:
May 22, 2012 - It probably has a lighter kind of metal in it. Also, some of the comics/cartoons explain that portable suits have some kind of anti gravity thing inside them to make them lighter to carry.
mi3456789 Says:
May 22, 2012 - anti-gravity??? wtf?
AgentMarcx Says:
May 22, 2012 - It means that it goes against gravity.
BillKiernan Says:
May 26, 2012 - the powa of LUV!
unltd679 Says:
May 26, 2012 - the same way it has jet engines on his feet with no fuel supply...
centurionl Says:
May 28, 2012 - and tony lifts it in front of him with two arms and no problems
godulous Says:
May 28, 2012 - The arc reactor is the fuel supply silly.
unltd679 Says:
May 29, 2012 - This is either sarcasm or you apparently don't know shit about how jet engines work silly
godulous Says:
May 29, 2012 - Sarcasm. The real answer is of course: it's a movie. Though if you want to nitpick, it could very well be an ion thruster or similar technology and not need any fuel supply to begin with, in which case the arc reactor (which also isn't real) would power it just fine.
ChrisGalinato Says:
May 30, 2012 - oh yeah epic slow motion
