But when you grow up or when you graduate from university, read Die Blechtrommel (The Tin Drum), one of Danziger Trilogie (Danzig Trilogy) written by Günter Grass. Don't read Das Kapital or Mein Kampf. But if you have time this weekend, I have 3 good German movies to recommend to you: Der Untergang (The Downfall), Die Brücke (The Bridge), and Stalingrad. Die Brücke has two versions, 1959 and 2008. The 1959 one is much better than 2008's. Cheers.
