May 13, 2012 - Are you high or just a fool? What do you think they use to make those games you play on the console? A PS3? If a console had a 7000 series Nvidia graphics chip and so did a pc. It would run exactly the same. The only reason it wouldn't is if it were optimized for a console. If a game was optimized for the pc the opposite would be true. The difference is that 5,6,7 years down the road my PC with it's "cheap ass money upgrading" will be many multitudes more powerful and running on latest Direct x.

May 13, 2012 - Consoles aren't capable of running at 1200p. They run at 720p. Some games are advertised to be 1080p but aren't true 1920x1080p. Instead something like 1400x1080 such as GT5. most console games however run at 720p and are up-scaled (stretched to fill panel) to 1080i causing them to look blurrier and less detailed then true 1080p or higher.. Their is not a console game on earth that will run at true 1920x1080p. Personally i have a monitor that runs at 2560x1600p or 1600p. Extremely detailed.

May 14, 2012 - @EnhancedCognition I used to be a PC gamer myself back in the day when it was dominated by IBM. I just think nowadays there's not much of a gap between consoles and PC. Console gaming looks great, has great sound and runs smooth. Listening to some PC gamers you would think that the consoles look and run terrible but it simply not true.

May 14, 2012 - I prefer pc, better graphics, hardware and software that keeps evolving , u can do a lit mote than game , easier manuvering with kb and mouse. Plus theres a bunch of little kids that play on consoles , little kids cant play on pc because its too expensive and they dint have the faintest idea how to use any of the parts.

May 18, 2012 - im trying to say their hardware won't be updated all the time and games would have to downgrade just a bit to play them.if you get a PC that cost twice as much your paying for great PC but the next gen consoles look good im thinking of trying out the wii-u and pick up a xbox 720

The insiders were reputable enough that Forbes decided to leak the information along with many others. I know that given everything that's available to Microsoft and Sony. That an AMD APU coupled with a southern island GPU is the most affordable, profitable and sensible approach at their behest. It is ingenious on their part. Just a little weak for another decade run.
