Adam and Eve had cain, abel, and seth, but they also had many sons and daughters and lived for a great number of years, presumably their sons and daughters did the same. The tower of Babel, I can't explain where cain's wife would come from. I also know of an old story of a rabbi telling the moon it was "yesterday's moon"
