May 3, 2012 - Not Vai, Mike Keneally.

zabman23 Says:

May 3, 2012 - You aren't alone. But what is there to get? Just put on The Torture never stops and enjoy an amazing improvised solo for 7 odd minutes. Or listen to Joes Garage and enjoy tales about being on tour with sexually promiscuous women with diseases. LOL You'll love it, it's a way of life!

kaybats70844 Says:

May 4, 2012 - @zabman23....you are obviously too young to appreciate good music. Go download Lady GAGA and leave us alone.

a00001111a1 Says:

May 4, 2012 - 4 years to find out...this guys r just genius

Zmayic Says:

May 7, 2012 - he was a genious mocking all contemporary music. is now any clearer?

thecreepingmess Says:

May 9, 2012 - "And what is Zappa doing in the final? Snapping his fingers. C'mon." - He's conducting the band.

Gege42 Says:

May 9, 2012 - Led Zappalin

MsIllusion04 Says:

May 11, 2012 - this cover sure is a cocaine decision

suim2007 Says:

May 12, 2012 - Pointless message if you ask me, especially since people who listen to this end up appreciating the song regardless

12161euclid Says:

May 13, 2012 - zappa was the spike jones of his generation.

llkdll Says:

May 15, 2012 - What the fuck, can nobody spell anymore?

silentthief18 Says:

May 15, 2012 - "can nobody"?

Toni Lucas Says:

May 15, 2012 - Zappa is someone that many can only dream of ever seeing in concert. I did get to see him once and he put on a great show. shame he had to pass away. You just really need to listen to some of his older pieces and dig on the lyrics only he could create. the man was genious

crowhaven200 Says:

May 17, 2012 - Do some research on Frank and you will see that he was a gifted, genius, musician and composer. Ask Stevie Vai if he thinks Frank could play the hell out of a guitar. Seriously you have to listen to his music, and there was a lot of it. If you took the time, you would get it. Was this his best? No, but it's an illustration of his eccentricity, and notice he had fun. he was a great fan of having fun. And he demanded perfection from his band. Searh Zappa, Stevie Vai, or Zappa whippin post

ppaesman Says:

May 18, 2012 - His music is not always very accessible, sometimes very much an acquired taste. My way in was via the humour of Apostrophe, and then onwards to Zoot Allures and onwards...

fred21679 Says:

May 18, 2012 - well from the kindness of his dedicated fans i will definitely check out more of his works...and i must say, the fans of zappa are very kind and open to outsiders! i feel this says alott about the artist as well! thanks to everyone!

eshneto Says:

May 19, 2012 - This is really odd. When I think of it, I don't like it, but I actually am loving to listen to this cover. How can that be?And hey, be careful not to eat the yellow snow.

diamondjimd Says:

May 20, 2012 - I know there are a lot of people who don't "get" Frank Zappa. I find myself appreciating him more the more I learn about him. If someone asked Frank what he considered himself, I think his first response would be composer. Check out the piece "Ionisation" by one of his biggest influences Edgard Varese. Next, check out his performance on Steve Allen playing a bicycle. From there check out whatever interests you. If you are bored, then maybe you'll never "get" Frank Zappa.

levediagyermeke Says:

May 22, 2012 - Yeah, It was just a mission impossible to see him in concert. You are very lucky, I think.

digitalmover2010 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Seen him twice, back in 1982 (Brussels) and 1988 (Rotterdam). Impossible to compare to anything on this planet and beyond...

vanhalendreams Says:

May 23, 2012 - As the man himself said, if you don't get it, then you weren't supposed to

fred21679 Says:

May 24, 2012 - i would disagree, i've had plenty of "oh shit" moments in my life where i finally got something i never understood before. maybe im suppose to get it when im truly able to appreciate it...:)

exentr Says:

May 25, 2012 - Zappa is the greatest artist ever but for exclusive souls only. No reason to sweat it. I have frieds I share music preferances with but somehow they just don't get it with Frank Zappa. I'm sure I could liked Zappa from age around 10 but I discovered Zappa 10 years later.

AChizzzum Says:

May 26, 2012 - Exactly. Zappa is not for everyone, you might never be able to truly appreciate it.

zabman23 Says:

May 26, 2012 - I dunno maybe cos it's a way of life, being a crew slut on the bus, eating yellow snow and rubbing into your beady litle eyes in a circular motion, whilst lubing yourself up with some mah-jah-reen you stole from st alfonzo, you naughty little kitchen appliance, you.
