Nov 17, 2011 - These caves were shown on the Chasing Mummies episode "Bats" with Dr Zajio Hawass. They are unconnected with the Osiris Shaft. We feel that the entrance to the caves, via a strange tomb in Giza's north cliff were seen as the entrance to Thoth-Hermes tomb, which was thought to lie beneath the Second Pyramid. The Emerald Tables are legendary, and might refer to something inside Hermes' tomb, perhaps even the colour of the walls, which might be green, and contain the original Pyramid Texts.
