Apr 13, 2012 - But you must admit, out of all the english dubs ever done, GiTS has always had the best.

May 1, 2012 - The music really goes well with Motoko's emotions in this scene. It just keeps elevating as she gets more deperate until she makes the bold move to try and open the Tank hatch.

May 9, 2012 - Yes. I love the PATIENCE of this sequence. It's in no rush. No quick cuts or anything like that. The music is slow and melancholy. It lets the battle flow organically. Really remarkable. All of Mamoru Oshii's films have exceptionally realistic combat and military hardware, by the way.
gatotsu2501 Says:
May 9, 2012 - A shame that the video cuts off before one of the better (corny) lines in the film - "What the hell did you use?" "Your standard-issue big gun."

May 11, 2012 - As much as I like guns & action, the last part where Motoko lost her arms in a fight was gross.

May 16, 2012 - I thought it was cool to watch the limitations of the cybernetic body as they literally fell apart. It's interesting in a way that is hard for me to put words to. I think I just like the idea that even in a futuristic movie that there are still gaps in the actualization of human technologies and knowledge, that something built by the military itself in this kind of futuristic setting would still incomplete. The idea that human progress will never be complete is almost hopeful...

May 16, 2012 - I remember seeing this scene on television when I was a kid, many many years ago. I didn't know what it was about, but it always stuck with me because it was so awesome and so extremely well done, and now I found it back! Thanks for uploading!

May 26, 2012 - What did you think kids, in 80 and 90's (the prehistoric time) we had not powerful computers just some Mb to work, but a big creativity as you can see. haha I'm 26, getting older.

May 26, 2012 - to play any heavy metal song in this sequence is like putting a lullaby compared with this theme Floating Museum.
