May 27, 2012 - Other examples I've seen are shouting things like "Gay!" or "Iraqis and Pakistanis!", or anything like that.I'm sure there's at least ONE person with Tourettes out there who goes "Nigger!" all day... May 28, 2012 - It's not considered offensive to shout "Twin Towers." I should know, I live in the USA and I've never heard anyone shout "Twin Towers" to offend people. Like I said, it's stupid, and people who get offended at someone saying "Twin Towers" is retarded. People can talk about the Twin Towers if they want to. Obviously if they're making fun of what happened to the Twin Towers, it's a different story but in this case, the kid simply shouted "Twin Towers" and there was nothing offensive about that.

May 28, 2012 - Well, like I said, the kid also swallowed the last letter because he realized just that.Maybe people in the US don't have as much of a problem with it, but my experience here on the other side, in The Netherlands, close enough to the UK, has been that you couldn't just shout out such a "term" having a connection to 9-11 for quite a while.And the way it's used, childishly and provokingly shouting "Twin Towers" in that case COULD be experienced offensive.Tourettes often IS provocative behavior.
