Mar 19, 2009 - There was this kid who had this nasty teacher who not only didn't discourage bullying and taunting of this "different" kid in his class but he also actually encouraged it--until the boy's mother realized what was happening and pulled him out of school and home schooled him. Because of this former "misfit" (Thomas Edison) we can now listen to people like Paul Davis, Elvis, and John Lennon long after they're gone. It's not cool to taunt and bully people, because all people count!!!

Aug 12, 2009 - No way will I let this issue go! There are kids who do everything from killing themselves to killing others to running away thanks to the bullying that goes on at school. This can NOT be ignored in hopes that it will go away! Thanks to his mother's intervention, Thomas Edison went on to make it possible for us to listen to Paul Davis and others. We need to keep that in mind when thinking about how important these kids are!

Nov 4, 2010 - this was my parents "song". i am so happy i finally found it on here. my parents got married in las vegas on a whim at 5 minutes to midnight with my daddy saying "wanna screw up a good thing?" that was 32 years ago. my dad is dying now. he is on hospice care and not expected long. its a comfort to find this for my mom. thanks for posting it!
