May 28, 2012 - first of all Sony does not make the Final Fantasy games Square Enix does. 2 it's most likely cause they haven't perfected combination between the new graphics and game play. Look at Final Fantasy XIII. Too linear. If Final Fantasy VII was remade with Final Fantasy XIII graphics/game play the game would be a disappointment. The reason Final Fantasy VII didn't appear linear was cause we had a bird's eye view so we saw countless exploration opportunity. Final Fantasy XIII not so much

The gameplay was shitty, the story was uninteresting and the characters where pretty forgetable. The only character i really liked in the game was snow, Vanille is a idiot Hope is a bitchy brat Lightning has superiority issues the black guy is so forgetable i cant even remember his name and fang is just mweh. they should just make the games like crisis core or go back to the normal style

They are pretty busy so they would rather focus on new games instead remaking old ones THAT ARE ALREADY GOOD ENOUGH. Why remake FF 7 its a great game with a great story and likable charactors. If somthing goes downhill that means that bussiness isn't making enough money. Square enix only waste's their time remakeing games to give them a better name or if they feel like it.

May 30, 2012 - Well i kinda like XII cause it had some redeemable aspects. Like i liked how they did the seasons thing and the story was pretty fun too. The battle style was just different and a bit stiff so it took awhile to get used to it, and i cant really comment on XIII-2 yet. I orderd it yesterday. heard some stuff about it on the release date that made me rethink my chooise of paying the full price. Im paying 20$ for it now :P gonna see if its really as terrible as people say it is XD
