Oct 5, 2011 - Just subscribed... Your videos are awesome!

byte1988 Says:

Oct 11, 2011 - Macbook is not needed. All you need is a Virtual Machine. I am running Mac OS X on my M17x Alienware. It works as long as you are not trying to watch movies on it. Fast switching images doesnt work on the VM but normal coding works just fine. Google it VMware

Oct 11, 2011 - I love your videos they help me step by step. I didn't know what any of that meant until now!!!!!! Keep it up!!!!

Djreversal Says:

Nov 23, 2011 - you spelt instructions wrong @ 3:20 area of the video :-p ... great job on these tutorials tho :) just thought i'd point that out

omegamonx2 Says:

Dec 10, 2011 - shouldn;t you set int x to something like int x = 0; or otherwise wouldn't it give you an error. Or can you do that in objective c. I am learning java at school.

Freeze00201 Says:

Dec 21, 2011 - No you don't have to, it's not required. If by accident you print out the 'x' without assigning it something you'll get garbage back ex: int x; std::cout x; output: 9871236498

Freeze00201 Says:

Dec 21, 2011 - std::cout >> x; my bad :D

Dec 28, 2011 - thank you! I got sort of bored with TheNewBoston. Love that your vids are in HD. Greatly appreciate it.

bogidon Says:

Dec 28, 2011 - oh my bad i guess only your first lesson was HD. awwww

Maniac9099 Says:

Jan 4, 2012 - I KNOW RIGHT, TheNewBoston has like 8 hours and 36 minutes of these videos and i just never knew when i was going to finish it!!!!!!

cool8888rox Says:

Jan 13, 2012 - will your code work for any other software except xcode because i have a windows pc and i really want to learn C but i don't have a Mac so i can't download Xcode. so my question is that will i be able to use the same code on a different compiler/debuger etc etc.?

PirateHugger Says:

Jan 29, 2012 - Need xcode, you can emulate mac osx to use xcode on your PC now but it is tricky.

TheEPICHEZ Says:

Feb 3, 2012 - actually yes there is got to likfe hacker.com cus there is a thing call virtual box were you can run a virtual mac in a dell or pc etc

wickedwinfrey Says:

Feb 4, 2012 - You can using via Virtualbox

someman7 Says:

Feb 5, 2012 - Unfortunately macandcomputerhelp uses absolute statements about his limited knowledge, which he seems unwilling to expand by simply googling. From what I've known from before, you can use GNU Objective C, and GNUStep. GNUStep is a free software implementation of Cocoa (though it lags behind the real thing), and - from what i've heard - you can create interfaces in it using GNUstep Renaissance that will run on Mac OS.

ToasterJelly Says:

Feb 5, 2012 - well if you want to create iphone games! TRY Using Unity3D ! :)

liamamster Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - Hey, I work for an iOS Application development blog (ios-blog.co.uk) - Would you be willing to write for us?

wjinak9416 Says:

May 2, 2012 - first, you sound like you 12. these tutorials do not and will not ever supply a person with enough information for that person to ever begin to write a program. what you are doing is trying to fit months of learning into a few short videos which is giving people false hope. i dont know if you are even a programmer, some of us who actually put in the time and became programmers hate people like you. all you did was buy the Objective-C for Dummies book, make a few powerpoints. you're little child.

kennethbgoodin Says:

May 13, 2012 - Dude, no need to be so hostile. Why are you watching this in the first place if you're such a high and mighty programmer? This guy's putting his time and effort into helping people learn, he's made 48 lessons, apparently. That doesn't seem like "a few short videos" to me. Maybe he's trying to keep it simple AT FIRST, and then expand into creating a program in the next 46 videos, i dunno, but there is NO NEED to attack someone for trying to help people learn.

AleksandrMakov Says:

May 23, 2012 - The reason for his hostility is that he's worthless and he knows it. And these kind of comments are the only way to make himself look better than the author (who actually did something helpful for many thousands of people). This is some sort of treatment of self-depreciation. That poor guy will never be able to do something as helpful cos he's simply pathetic. Perhaps his parents, or gf, or any other relative(s) made him believe he's nothing... What else to say? A victim of a victim.

AleksandrMakov Says:

May 23, 2012 - You're making an absolute statement and you are not willing to expand your knowledge yourself, but accusing the author for your own failures. You don't bring up facts here, but assumptions and personal opinion. It's like "hey, my grandpa said it should work" so "you everyone out there should google before you debate my grandpa".

someman7 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Which part of anything I've said is a personal opinion? And how am I refusing to expand my knowledge?

miphonevideos Says:

May 24, 2012 - This is GREAT!

HHSnopek Says:

May 24, 2012 - Idk if your still here rajandass65, but solution to your issue COULD be.... Running a Virtual Machine, Virtualbox com, and installing Snow Leopard on that, which comes with Xcode on it... if not, again just sign up for the free Apple Developer Version using Leopard or SL.
