May 24, 2012 - Lol thanks dude, I'm a big fan of this kind of music. That sounds like a good time X) and I see what you mean, I listened to those songs and they were pretty good.
TheNukesLab Says:
May 25, 2012 - If this is the real DUBSTEP, then what type of music does Skrillex make? Cause as far as I know Skrillex is popular and known as a dubstep artist and not many people know Skream, Mala, Benga etc.
LvAndzha Says:
May 25, 2012 - Nor do they know the caveman 'n shit who invented music. Stop this bitchy attitude and listen to this fine dubstep track.
TheNukesLab Says:
May 25, 2012 - Hey, just asking. BTW I like this song :D

May 26, 2012 - Need more like this.. One thing about Skrillex's stuff.. It really is just noise, Skream and Benga take it back big ups
omgwtfbbqbay Says:
May 26, 2012 - totally agree! even skream is forgetting the roots, what happened to midnight request line, the judgement (w/ benga) and last but not least: 26 basslines!
il3160 Says:
May 26, 2012 - guys we all know that skrillex isn't dubstep. we don't need you to remind us for all those who hate on skrillex. I don't like skrillex myself but you don't see me complaining. don't worry about what other people listen to and what they think. just listen to your own music and hold the thought that you're listening to REAL music.

May 27, 2012 - Fucking laughing my ass off at all this Skream dick riding. You are all the most stuck up music purists I've ever seen. I love all forms of dubstep, from classic Burial, Skream, Benga, to newer stuff like Skrillex, Knife party etc. NEWSFLASH, genres evolve! But what really makes it for me, is that this song was released on OWSLA, and who owns OWSLA? SKRILLEX. Fucking move on, you all sound like a bunch of old ass dudes sitting on their porch, "Music was much better in the old days".

May 28, 2012 - Hey guys, my name is Chris and i am 15 year old wannabee producer who takes inpiration from Skream, Benga, Burial and Sukh Knight. now, before you thumbs down this comment and flag it, i just want to let you know that i am not like any other teenager that trys so squeeze out the loudest earache of a bassline, i try to be unique and completely original. So if you have time, please give a listen to my track, i would really appreciate it ♥ /watch?v=L40EoUd16fE

May 28, 2012 - Skrillex's music genre is not pure dubstep. He's one of the few artists to successfully blend electro and dubstep to form some new genre that leans towards dubstep by keeping the original 140bpm (give or take) 2-step rhythm, but with more upbeat drum pattern arrangements that gives the energy of electro along with electro synths that are used in between the dubstep basses to create a kind of electro dubstep variety.
LyricalRebirth Says:
May 28, 2012 - he actually is one of the founding fathers of dubstep back in 1998 in south England :P when him and a few others were just fucking with 2 step garage track and creating wobbles....very different from today's "dubstep"
l3viathn Says:
May 28, 2012 - not "nothing else"... It came from dub, which is electronic reggae, mixed with the 2-step beat of dnb. This isn't dubstep, it's more electro/pop and Skream did that on purpose for the mainstream pop-fans.
thereisnospoon4u Says:
May 29, 2012 - haha what are you talking about. skrillex aint brostep, Oblivion ft. Ashley Merges - Bass Freq. thats brostep i mean skrillex have made some tracks which are dustep first of the year are dubstep for an example but most of them really are electro such as kill everybody in the world. :)

crudbinky2 Says:
May 30, 2012 - 140bpm, nothing else? What about sub-bass; the main ingredient of dubstep! You're acting like an expert when really you know nothing, then you talk about skrillex even though he never mentioned him once!. If you are going to try and make someone look stupid make sure you aren't making yourself look stupid instead.
AlexOramMusic Says:
May 30, 2012 - Mate, I am a producer. I make electro house & Dubstep. I could have written a short essay on the ins and outs of the genre, but I really couldn't be bothered, but I think that the point got across. The reason I mentioned skrillex is because all the chodes who post 'wheres the drop' or 'this isn't dubstep' are expecting a skrillex-esque brostep track, when that clearly isn't the only style of dub going about. Also sub-bass is found it almost all genres of music, not exclusively dubstep. Peace.
SteamWolfy Says:
May 30, 2012 - STOP ARGUING AND ENJOY THE MUSIC

HarryPriceUK Says:
May 24, 2012 - Yo dude! It's good to see someone paying an interest into the roots, Dubstep use to be about the music and purely that! It use to be something you would smoke a spliff to, sit with your mates and chill out and just bob your head to it, it use to be more sub-wobbles/wobbles, still the wobble bassline but not so 'robotic' listen to these tracks dude!Kromestar - Poltergeist.Mala - ChangesDMZ - Horrid Henry.Skream - Blue EyesBenga - Rock Music. There's different styles! But it's all good, ez.
