May 23, 2012 - not exactly .. although Algebra was invented in the middle-east, but more precisely, the Phoenicians ( Lebanese ancestry ), who were not arab .. they invented Aramaic, the founding language that is the basis of Arabic, Hebrew, and Greek .. essentially the 1st alphabet .. the 0 was not invented in the middle-east, but by the Aztecs ( Mayans and Mexicans)!
