Apr 24, 2012 - Not sure if I'm gonna get flak for this or not, but Iron Maiden being one of my favourite bands and Rush being my definite first favorite, it's hard not to notice their similiarities. Iron Maiden is like Metal with a hint of Prog (mostly lyrically and song construction) and Rush is like Prog with a hint of Metal. Not suggesting any influence on either party, just comparing to unique and awesome bands!

May 6, 2012 - oh but Van Halen has come back, it's just up to the population to make them popular again. As well as ZZ Top, they have been original since the early 70's as well as Iron Maiden and it's honestly hard for me to tell who has the most original riffs, but I respect them both as hardcore as it gets. God Bless real talent, that's all I have to say.
