Nov 1, 2009 - I believe Jude Cole is in this band, no? He had top 40 hits in 1990 with Baby It's Tonight and Time for Letting Go.

Nov 22, 2009 - I saw them supporting the Jam too and was so impressed I bought their LP Shades in bed, which I still have. You're right their version of see my friends is very good and it's always hard to top Ray Davies.

AmatoRe07 Says:
May 11, 2010 - If you google Teenarama by the records, there is a website that will pop up and you can hear the original record. I too have been looking for "Teenarama" and I have never seen it on here.

Jun 24, 2010 - @emr3413 I'm a HUGE Soft Boys fans & this sounds nothing like them! The Records have a sound all their own. A fantastic one, if you ask me....
crapple009 Says:
Jun 29, 2010 - @Soujurn I'd put the blame on the Knack- they were all over the place by summer 1979 and most of the other powerpop bands were way overshadowed as a result.
crapple009 Says:
Jun 29, 2010 - @zachhoran- Jude's not in this particular clip. He would join the following year replacing the left-handed guitarist here, Huw Gower. Both guitarists were great as well as the second lp (with Jude), Crashes!.

Feb 8, 2011 - Just picked this up again on CD. I loved these guys when I was in College. I used to think OASIS was a ripoff of the beatles, but listening to this, I think they ripped off the Records! I don't know why these guys never made it huge, lots of catchy songs, good music.
28if Says:
Apr 25, 2011 - @daikuone I had all the lp's. Never saw the influence, you are dead on with the OASIS link. Thanks
georgeharbaugh Says:
