Jimmy Carr mentioned a company's name and wasn't paid to do so. Not to mention, he wasn't exactly painting Starbucks employees in the most positive light...if anything, it was the opposite of advertising. Don't know HOW you can conclude he's a marketing whore.

The reason why I know is because I heard of coffee companies offering stand ups vast amounts of cash (depending on status) to drop in the name of their company in radio shows and stand up routines. Check the Tim Minchin episode of the Robin Ince and Josie Long pod cast in i tunes (free). They talk at length about been offered money from Costa Coffee 4 stealth marketing. So its safe to assume that Starbucks do the same. Why did he say he loved it and it was posh?

You've never praised a certain company's products before? I like Apple products, does saying that make me a marketing whore?Bill Hicks once mentioned Domino's Pizza in a routine where he was fantasizing about weed being mandatory. He did the exact same thing Carr did: mention a company in a positive light. So people like Carr certainly weren't Bill's target.
