May 29, 2012 - do you guys get crappy tyres over there? cos these bikes are barely moving and theyre sliding around!

KC8YOQ Says:

May 29, 2012 - It looks like a NEW asphalt is not cured and they are getting oil on the tires and that is causing the rear to slide

TheJorgen1986 Says:

May 29, 2012 - some good old tank slap

Nintencrow Says:

May 29, 2012 - The rear slides out because they throttle up. When you throttle up on a motorcycle in a turn, you sharpen the turn, and the motorcycle will react by tilting more and eventually lose stability. In order to make a successful turn, you need to stay hard on the gas, yes, but you also need to realize that throttling up at all in a turn is extremely risky. Throttling down, or letting the bike straighten itself up before gunning on for the straight, is the right way to fly.

Nintencrow Says:

May 29, 2012 - A motorcycle is quite special, in that they are innately very good at staying upright in speed. As a rider, you can't think like you'll battle with the bike. The bike does it's job, it's the driver who is to blame. This is dry asphalt on a warm day, with warm tires. There is nothing wrong with neither the bikes nor the conditions.

May 29, 2012 - mazda driver was kinda cool xD

HighsideLowside Says:

May 29, 2012 - way off on this one stud........ 'throttling up" makes the bike try to "straighten up". Getting on the throttle too much at a lean angle in which there is so small of a contact surface of your tire on the ground will make the back tire wash out. If your are at an extreme lean angle and you let off the throttle, you will not straighten up...... you will likely lowside.
