Nov 3, 2011 - This is great. The LP gives it that same feeling of being back there. Weather report amidst a very hip few, gave birth to and then brought 'Fusion' to it's unspoken conclusion. The only place you can still hear progressive is on NPR's 'Jazz After Midnight'. But who asked me? Wayne's notes still amaze. Ask the philostopher and see what he says. Thanks for the post.

Feb 6, 2012 - for some reason this song has always reminded me of a fireworks show in innercity Philadelphia that I attended as a kid of about 8 yrs old about 8 yrs before this tune was composed. Something about the vibe of a big city- the traffic, the freedom of expression, the number of people, the mystery of a fireworks show to a kid, the late 60's morphing into the early 70's. This tune is magic.
