May 2, 2012 - Chrysler and other car makers have and continue to perpetuate a gas-guzzling auto culture. They deserved every bit of the financial troubles they incurred, and were lucky to be bailed-out. Investing almost entirely into a product dependent on a diminishing resource is short-sighted. Making your product inefficient is stupid. Not to mention, US car companies have practiced substandard manufacturing procedures for decades. Politics aside, these companies suck and we should vote with our dollars.
