May 8, 2012 - Man, I think your right, I was deeply inspired in the ip man movies which is the reason why I started studying/learning wing chun by myself, I even made my own wooden dummy(very similar to the original one), I already have few ideas about the techniques/system of wing chun, BUT, I NEED a professional's help....I'm a filipino by the way...

May 19, 2012 - I've been wantimg to learm wimg chun but took on taekwom n karate which is the opposite of wing chun. I wanna learn mot for myself but break thee barrior. I will lead in my own foot steps.

May 22, 2012 - It should be the same, just a translation thing or something. Check into it tho, because most of the people who teach the Ip Man lineage of Wing Chun usually spell it Wing Chun or Wing Tsun. Hope this comment helped :)

May 27, 2012 - Its a dialect thing. Wing Chun Ving Tsun Wing Tsun its all the same. Just make sure the local Sifu is an actual study in the art and not a "strip mall" wanna be. My knowledge comes from the fact that I've been looking into Wing Chun instructors for a while

May 29, 2012 - its the same but Wing Chun is the right one. some people write it differently because they want be special but normally its the same. there is Wing Tsun, Ving Tsun for example but the right name is WING CHUN! be careful! im sure it wont be exactly the same style like Ip man's. its hard to find a school which is teachin the right form of wing chun and some of them dont fight they only do the basic things and you cant be sure if it will work in a real fight!. i hope you understand what i mean :D
