Mar 29, 2012 - Dude, it doesn't just sound like it. It's pretty much a direct rip off. It's Vmaj7 Imaj7 chord progression (if I'm hearing it correctly. It might not be, I'm pretty exhausted and too lazy to really check) which is the exact same chord progression as Gymnopedie. It doesn't matter though. It's probably a sign of respect seeing as how Erik Satie was one of the biggest (maybe even the biggest) innovator of this kind of music.
