Jul 23, 2011 - Atention 3ds max users!!!Sometimes when you bring a model from 3ds max to unity the axis comes all messed upthats because max uses the Z axis as vertical and Y as forward.To fix that simply go to 3ds max and rotate your model'S PIVOT so that its forward is facing Z and its top facing Y then export and it should work.BTW thanks for the tutorials twins !!!

Feb 13, 2012 - In 3D modelling software the 'z' axis is vertical where as in Unity the 'y' axis is vertical. So try rotating the model 90 degrees in your 3D modelling software so that the front of your model points at the 'y' axis (i.e. vertically up!)
