Nov 27, 2011 - ..we're all blindfolded (class whichever way), but realizing the situation of others can expand perceptions....this is about humanity waking up & realizing there's more than what's at their front door..kinda like the Arab Spring..folks realizing they can find better & being compelled to action..while the well-off are realizing the same thing "i was a blindfold..got us a battle/leave it up to me"....change comes from the masses as much as the riches..it takes a conscience to realize it..

Jan 20, 2012 - @ItsKydawg I don't think any of the songs on this album are about Emily. If I have this correct, then this album is actually based on fans' stories that were submitted to the band via their website. This album was a tribute to their fans; a way of idolizing the idolize-rs.

Feb 7, 2012 - @Candiigalz I agree with what oddlysplendidaudrey said, and also you really have to get into the books and fall in love with the characters to understand why a song would match with the movie. I personally, see how this would fit Catching Fire and Mockingjay as well, mostly Catching Fire though.

Oct 6, 2011 - I believe this song is about Emily who has been living a privileged life, but she still isn't happy. Then she came to the realization that other people or the survivors are celebrating the fact they are still alive. Saying she never asked for her life but the world won't let her leave... she is tired of living and the survivors truly appreciate their lives. She would rather sacrifice her life for theirs. Really sad... yet beautiful.
