Description:
12 month old orphaned wombat in North west Tasmania learning how to stand his ground before his release into the wild in the next 12 months. The cute little male has a bite kinda like a grab with a pair of pliers crossed with a hammer. Can hurt. This animal was found in his mothers pouch after being hit by a car. He is very healthy and in good care. He will be released into the Cradle Mountain area of central Tasmania in Spring 2010. Dec 1, 2011 - its not a pet it is an orphan in care (read the description) , the biting of legs is good coz it is training so it can defend itself when released.
