Mar 30, 2012 - I'm guessing this was uploaded by an American. Firstly, that is not Queen's English, it is a satirical mocking of the colloquial West English (Gloucestershire) accent. Secondly, this film is far less funny if you didn't know the first point. An american watching this is like me watching a French film mocking the accent in southern france. It isn't anywhere near as funny if you haven't experienced it. The film is a caricature of English village life, you need to have been in one to understand it.

It is simply a fact and I'd say the same to somebody from Scotland or elsewhere in England. I am not attacking Americans, I'm simply stating that one would not fully pick up on all the jokes if one lived outside of this region of England. You won't know it but you will be missing certain things.

Apr 5, 2012 - Yep, I'd say so. Hot Fuzz is my favourite film by a very long way. Everything down to the way it is directed is pure genius. It is one of those films where the more times you watch it, the more subtle jokes you pick up. It gets funnier every time you see it.
