Apr 15, 2012 - Why does everybody need to "the meaning" behind the song? The lyrics are right there, take from it what you will. We've all done reading comprehension before, and it's not like you're gonna enjoy the song that much more when you completely understand the fine details of the words. There's the writer's perspective and the listener's perspective.

May 6, 2012 - It's about him finally coming to terms with whatever issues he had and coming to his own. The way we all some times have trouble dealing with reality and what ever haunts us. Sometimes people look for love because we have a hard time loving ourselves. First step is to face the truth about yourself before we can overcome our demons. At least that's what I got from this song. Make your own interpretations. That's the beauty of music.

May 19, 2012 - I don't feel like going into the details as I know that it would upset you, but if one were to think of the bible as fictitious, then all of the truths that people "believe" would turn out to be lies. I'm not convinced that the lyrics don't say what I had written and they were probably changed afterwards so to not lose a certain demographic. Hell, the video is full of biblical references and the song is about growing up with religion and finding out that it's not the "truth."
