Nov 12, 2011 - Its just an ok cover; it just sounds to ordinary. No band band or artist will ever top this song. Ian Curtis had a baritone and sang it so great. For this song, it just sounds better in baritone voice. Just like a depeche mode song, or any other synthpop music.

Mar 21, 2012 - He plays power chords except on the guitar breaks, but you can use the regular chords. The intro is C,D,E. When he starts singing he just cuts out the quick jump to D and only plays C and E. The guitar break is Cadd9 03023X (eBGDAE), D (use your pinky to quickly hit 3rd fret on high e), and then Em7 330220 (just alternate strumming the top strings and bottom strings) Hope that helps :)

Apr 16, 2012 - it's all just personal opinion, and if you don't like his voice then you don't like it. IMO, he has one of the best voices in the music that I've come across and belongs in a band that wants him for vocals. His voice is unique, engaging and almost flawless for the music silversun makes. I just want more music out of them. also Joy Division is amazing, and this is a great cover of shadowplay.
